Purposeful life

There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honour your calling. It's why you were born. And how you become truly alive. Oprah Winfrey

What is your Purpose in

We are definitely created to serve others and to make a difference to the world we live in. Serving others in a way that also fulfils you as an individual, makes you want to do more for others. A  purposeful life, is a life full of contentment. A life full of gratitude and peace, followed by joy throughout the journey. In a world where success and achievements are measured by the cars we drive or the brands we wear, it will be hard to pin point if your life is purposeful or not.

There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor. Charles Dickens.

Have you ever tried telling a joke or relating something but in the process of you telling the joke. You start laughing uncontrollable and the audience is just looking at you with pure amusement. You laugh to the point where tears start rolling down your face. Now your audience start laughing at you and not your joke.

When last did you laugh? Besides the endorphins that are released by the brain when we laugh. Laughter activates and relieve our stress response. In this stressful world we live in, we need more of laughter. We need to sometimes stop being too serious and just laugh even at the silliest things we can find. When you have kids that should not be difficult. Children are comedians in a making till a certain age. But also, do you ever laugh at yourself?

Start living a life filled with laughter with your loved ones. Those moments are forever cherished and serve as good memories that no one can take away. I think we want to be remembered by how we lived life to the fullest but especially by how we made others laugh and how much we laughed. In your journey always remember to laugh and keep the people who make you laugh close by.

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Laughter is a gift from God. Proverbs 17:22

Halfway Through

Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance” Eckhart Tolle

We are halfway through the year. What a year it has been… Despite all the challenges that we are facing as a nation or individually there are so many things to be grateful for. What are you grateful for? Remember gratitude enhances the law of attraction. The more you are grateful for, the more you receive of what you are grateful for.

We should not let life pass us by, as if we are passengers in our lives. We need to take charge and make the most of every moment. The next 180 days, well depending on when you read this post, lol, we need to be fully committed in making a change in our lives. Let us not waste our days on comparing our lives to other people. Stay in your lane and know that your journey is yours only. Comparing steals your joy and makes you less content with where you at.

Choose to wake up grateful and at peace.  Work on yourself and choose your battles, not all battles are meant for you to fight. Let go of the hurt and move on, do not be bitter but better. Every second counts and there is so much to be done. Start seeing the beauty in the simplest things around you. You are unshakable and unstoppable. Keep Going and keep living as if it's your last day.

Keep Going

"Feel the fear but do it anyway Keep Going" S. Ntshinga

Have you found yourself in a situation which you had never predicted it will ever happen to you? That unexpected change that just disrupts your life especially your comfort zone. I think one way or the other we all go through those situations whether good or bad.  An unexpected pregnancy, death of a loved one, losing a job, change in financial circumstances, illness of a spouse, career demands. Those a just a few examples we all will have to go through while we on this earth.

During this time, our faith and endurance is tested. You find yourself questioning how the universe works, especially when you seem to be facing crisis after crisis. There are many good people who seem to be done bad all the time, but their character never changes. And that is how we are meant to react to any situation we come across. The situation should not make us bitter but better. Better in how we manage crisis in our lives and how improve ourselves. We are meant to evolve for the better and not stay the same. I think at times these situations happen to move us to a different direction or for us to do some soul searching.

Whatever situation you are facing do not give up. Do cry but keep going. Cry while you keep going it will be better. Those tears will be tears of joy in good time. Trust the process and believe in the higher power most importantly believe in yourself. Surround yourself with people who will build you up. Read and listen to podcast, write down your thoughts and feelings. Do not forget to count your blessings as hard as it may be, you are still breathing more reason to keep going. Also listen to comedy, laughter is important and will help uplifting your mood. You got this and God has you, Keep Going.
